Allanfield
The specialist insurance broker has announced the appointments of Paul Leader and Paul Williams as managing directors of companies in the Allanfield Group. Leader joins in June from global insurance broker HW Wood, where he was director with responsibility for the real estate and commercial teams. Williams joins, with immediate effect, from Gallagher Health Real Estate, where he was executive director responsible for strategic direction. James Manning has also been appointed to support the team.
Barclays
Barclays has made two new appointments within its London business services team. Sarah Prebble joins as a relationship director from Royal Bank of Scotland. Will Drane, an internal appointment, will be responsible for money service clients.
Bolt
Bolt Partners, the turnaround consultancy and asset management firm, has announced the appointments of Danny Wulwick and Scott Phillips. Wulwick joins as primary care asset director from Ackerman, a property management and development company. Phillips, on secondment from Healthcare Management Partners, a US-based turnaround specialist, will assist Bolt in strengthening its care home and acute hospital offering.
KPMG
KPMG has made three new appointments to its healthcare consulting practice. Beccy Fenton and Jonathan Hale join as directors and Tim Rideout joins as an associate. Fenton was previously deputy chief executive of Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust. Hale has joined KPMG from Capita Consulting, where he was the director lead to its consulting services to hospital clients. Rideout was previously programme director for the development of the NHS Commissioning Board.
Cushman & Wakefield
The world’s largest privately held commercial real estate firm has announced that Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano, its chairman, will oversee the company’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has been named chief executive of Cushman & Wakefield EMEA with effect from 1 July. He replaces Paul Bacon. Barel di Sant’Albano was previously chairman of EXOR, the European investment company.
Simmons & Simmons
The international law firm has continued its expansion in China with two new appointments. Lesli Ligorner joins as employment partner from Paul Hastings Shanghai, where she chaired the employment law practice. Vivien Yang joins as corporate partner from Clifford Chance’s Hong Kong office, where she was head of natural resources.
