CAIRN ENERGY
UBS yesterday changed its rating from “neutral” to “buy”, and raised the price target by 25p to 325p for the energy company, saying it is a slow burner with high potential and low risk.
VODAFONE
Morgan Stanley said the telecoms firm has made “very effective asset disposals” and mentioned the possibility of a sale of Vodafone’s stake in Verizon. The broker has an “overweight” rating and a 205p target.
CINEWORLD
Peel Hunt has raised its target from 264p to 276p and kept its “buy” rating for the cinema chain after it acquired rival Picturehouse, and raised its earnings estimate for next year by nine per cent.
