Lloyds
The bank has announced the appointment of David Weatherhead as regional trade director for London and the south east. He will focus on medium-sized businesses with turnovers of up to £500m. Weatherhead has over 24 years’ banking experience, and joins Lloyds from RBS. He sits on the London Chamber of Commerce’s Security and Defence committee, and is a member of the Institute of Export.
Ernst and Young
The professional services firm has appointed Gary Turner as a partner in its operational transaction services practice. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Turner was a senior director at AlixPartners in London. Before that, he was a partner in PwC’s consulting business, where he led its operations and supply chain practice.
JP Morgan Private Bank
The bank has announced two new senior hires. Jonathan Conner has been appointed head of its Middle East private banking team. He joined JP Morgan in 2007 from Citigroup, where he served as chief of staff to the chief executive of Citigroup Private Bank. Ramsey Jallad, who has been appointed as executive director and a senior banker in the team, joins from The Family Office, where he was a relationship manager.
Arbuthnot Latham
Jim Pittick has been appointed commercial banking director at the private bank, where he will be responsible for corporate and commercial clients. He was most recently executive director in the professional practices division at Coutts. He joined Coutts from NatWest, where he worked with small business, mid and major corporate clients.
Atkins
The design and project management consultancy firm has appointed Joe Boyer as chief executive for North America. He joins from Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, where he was president of its federal division. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer at Asset Group and vice president of Project Resources.
Towry
The financial advisory firm has announced the appointment of two new advisers. Elen Davies joins from HSBC Global Bank, where she spent seven years as a senior financial planning adviser to its private clients. Minaz Kasmani joins from WH Ireland, where she led and developed a team of financial advisers in its Cardiff office.
Brocade
Jeff Lindholm has been appointed senior vice president of worldwide sales at the networking solutions company. Lindholm has held a number of senior roles in sales and marketing, and was formerly chief marketing officer and senior vice president of worldwide sales at Juniper Networks.
