Button: Lewis under pressure
FORMER world champion Jenson Button has piled the pressure on Lewis Hamilton to kick-start his bid for another Formula One drivers’ title by winning Sunday’s British Grand Prix.
Hamilton arrives at Silverstone desperate to make up ground on his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who leads the standings eight races into the 19-date F1 calendar.
Button, of Hamilton’s old team McLaren, said: “The pressure’s on Lewis. He’s in the best car. Come on, make it happen. It would be amazing to have a British victory, the crowd would go wild.”
Hamilton, who has not won on home soil since his 2008 title year, said: “I’m going to do everything.”
