The limited edition Longines pocket watch
This limited edition Longines pocket watch has been created to commemorate the Chinese year of the horse. The timepiece is a re-issue of a stunning 1927 creation which is on display at the Longines museum. The detailed carving of a horse flying over a fence on the back of the watch is a nod to the long-standing relationship Longines has with the equestrian world.
The rear opens to reveal a solid case back and it is fitted with a manually wound L506 calibre.
Only 10 of these pocket watches have been made, with New Bond Street’s Wempe the only UK stockist. If you’re a watch enthusiast with a penchant for equestrianism, this piece is surely deserving of a place in your collection.
