2014 Commonwealth Games: Glasgow’s been lucky, lucky, lucky
Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue was crowned the queen of Glasgow last night as she headlined the closing ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The Games formally closed last night after 11 days and 261 gold medals. England topped the medals table for the first time in 28 years with 174 medals, while Scotland and Wales also had their best games.
The next Games, in 2018, will be held in Gold Coast City, Queensland, Australia.
