iPhone 6 photos “the real deal”, says Australian with a history of leaking Apple products
A Twitter user with a reputation for leaking Apple product images has tweeted pictures of what he claims is the new iPhone 6.
Australian Sonny Dickson tweeted that the pictures were "100% the real deal. Just wait and see" but later removed the message.
The pictures are still around though, showing the purported iPhone 6 looking a little the worse for wear.
Apple fans have been clamouring for such glimpses of the Californian brand's new flagship handset. The photos, if real, support the rumours of a larger, more rounded handset.

The pictures received mixed responses, with users pointing out the plastic elements. It is possible that the phone was just a trial chassis and not made from the materials that will feature on the final product. It could even be an older test model, meaning the phone that is eventually released will look different.

The new iPhone is due out on 9 September and is expected to come in two sizes, with both 4.7 and 5.5 inch models bigger than the four-inch iPhone 5s.
