The insurance and technology firm has hired Guy Shepherd as director for technology and solution design. He has over 20 years’ experience developing insurance technology solutions. Shepherd was formerly at PwC, where he was head of its insurance modelling practice.
TSB
The bank has announced the appointment of Susan Crichton as general counsel. She has over 20 years’ experience working as an in-house lawyer. Prior to joining TSB, Crichton was general counsel at the Post Office. She has previously held various roles at GE Money and Skandia/Old Mutual.
Henderson Global Trust
Henderson Global Trust has appointed Wouter Volckaert as portfolio manager. Volckaert has previously held various roles at Morgan Stanley and ABN AMRO Asset Management.
Barings Asset Management
The asset management business has recruited Duncan Goodwin as head of global resources. He has over 19 years’ finance and investment experience in the resources industry. Goodwin joins from Martin Currie, where he was most recently lead manager of its global resources fund. Before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers as an equity research analyst.
Plurimi Capital
The asset management firm has made two hires to its wealth management team. Fahad Khan joins as managing director from Morgan Stanley, where he was an executive director. Louis Ann Gibney joins as a director in Plurimi’s Russian and Commonwealth of Independent States team. She was previously at Credit Suisse, where she was investment partner in its ultra-high net worth private banking team.

Brenda Coleman has joined the law firm as a partner in its tax and benefits division. She was most recently at Weil Gotshal & Manges, where she was a partner in its corporate tax group.
Bullitt Group
Scott Cheng has joined the electronics company as vice president of sales for Asia. He was formerly president of Commtiva Technology.
