Marks & Spencer are making all their toys gender neutral by Spring 2014
Retailer Marks and Spencer have committed to making all their toys gender neutral by Spring 2014.
@stellacreasy Hi Stella, we’ve listened to customer feedback and by Spring next year all of our toys will be gender neutral. Thanks

The announcement follows Twitter complaints about their "Boy Stuff Marble Run Toy". Campaign group Lets Toys Be Toys is one of those that raises awareness of how marketing toys towards boys or girls can entrench damaging stereotypes.
It's a powerful victory for those who think that such decisions should be made by businesses, not politicians. The company has changed its business practices – as it has a strong incentive not to offend customers.
