Giant-killing Kidderminster set up Sunderland tie in round four
NON-LEAGUE Kidderminster set up an FA Cup fourth round trip to Premier League strugglers Sunderland with a 3-2 win at Peterborough last night.
Tommy Rowe opened the scoring for Peterborough, sixth in League One, in the third round replay, but goals from Michael Gash and Jack Byrne shortly after half-time put Harriers ahead.
Britt Assombalonga levelled for Posh from the penalty spot on 74 minutes, but just two minutes later Joe Lolley struck the winner on what is set to be his final game for Kidderminster ahead of a move to Huddersfield.
Championship strugglers Charlton fought back from two goals down at home League Two Oxford United to force a third round replay, while holders Wigan came from behind to beat MK Dons 3-1 after extra time.
Joe Garner bagged a hat-trick as Preston surprised Ipswich with a 3-2 victory, while Bournemouth set up a home tie against Liverpool in round four with a 4-1 win over Burton.
Birmingham, Port Vale, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford also advanced with wins last night.
