Finn vows to bounce back
STRUGGLING seam bowler Steven Finn has conceded his exile from the England squad is the right decision and has vowed to come back better than ever.
Finn did not feature at all in England’s 5-0 Ashes defeat to Australia and has now been sent home to work on “technical aspects” of his game meaning he will miss the remainder of the one-day international series, which continues in Brisbane this morning.
But the 24-year-old said: “It’s close to clicking and it’s not going to take too much to get me back where I want to be. I feel I can come out of this a better bowler.
“I’m upset I’m leaving the tour, because I want to be helping England win games of cricket, but I do feel that it’s best if I go home.”
