Panmure says goodbye to Dorgan
PANMURE Gordon has said goodbye to the well-known retail analyst Philip Dorgan, after making him redundant last week.
Dorgan is not normally known for biting his tongue – he famously said in advance of the Ocado initial public offering three years ago that the shop: “Begins with an O, ends with an O, and is worth zero” – but the analyst was less loose-lipped yesterday, telling The Capitalist that he was in no rush to make his next move yet as “the weather is so nice”.
But given that September will mark his 30th year as an analyst, no doubt the City will be seeing his face again soon.
