Martin Brookes has joined Legal & General Capital as director of investment strategy. He previously spent 27 years at the Prudential, where he was most recently director of portfolio management in its portfolio management group.

The professional services firm has appointed Victor Abrams as a special adviser in its tax value chain management practice. He joins from PwC, where he specialised in all tax aspects of business operating models.
King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin
The law firm has hired Tom Calnan as head of real estate in the Middle East. He was previously a senior associate at Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Lambert Smith Hampton
Mathias Harris has joined the commercial property consultancy’s national auctions team. He has over 20 years’ experience, and specialises in auctions. Harris previously held positions at Eddisons, Jones Lang LaSalle and King Sturge.
FM Global
The commercial property insurance firm has appointed Nicholas Batten as vice president and manager of global services. He joined the company in 2000.
Bfinance
Derek Williams has joined the investment consultancy as managing director for private markets. He was most recently at Russell Investments, where he was head of private real estate. Prior to that, he was a research manager at Land Securities.

The insurance company has hired Ole Enevoldsen as group head of underwriting assurance. He previously held roles at Jubilee Managing Agency and Munich Re.
Endava
The IT services company has hired Kelly Fegan to lead its insurance team. She has over 30 years’ experience in the London insurance market. Fegan was formerly a director at RI3K.
