The energy supplier has announced the appointment of Jane Bednall as managing director for domestic energy. She previously held senior positions at the Intercontinental Hotel Group.
Lombard Odier Group
The private bank has named Hugo Banziger as a managing partner. He is currently chairman of the board of directors at Eurex. He previously worked for 16 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was most recently the chief risk officer and member of its management board.
Colliers International
The property company has recruited Brian Ward as president of its capital markets group in the Americas. Prior to joining, Ward was national director of capital markets at Institutional Property Advisors. Before that, he was chief investment officer at Hendricks-Berkadia.
First State Investments
The investment management firm has made three senior appointments. Chris Gower joins as head of consultant relationships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from HSBC Global Asset Management. Alex Mackenzie-Smith has been appointed business development director for Europe. Andrew Ward has been appointed distribution manager. He previously held roles at BNY Mellon.
Chartered Institute of Taxation
Bill Dodwell will join the institute of tax professionals as vice president in May. He specialises in international corporate taxation, and is currently head of tax policy at Deloitte.
Exotix
The investment banking boutique has hired Youssef Kabbaj as a managing director. He was formerly head of Middle East and Africa coverage at GLG Partners. Before that, Youssef was co-head of the strategic coverage group at Goldman Sachs.
Turner & Townsend
Richard Peers has joined the programme management and construction consultancy as UK operations director. He was most recently at Capita Symonds.
Mind Candy
The digital entertainment company has recruited Jeff Reynar as chief technology officer. He previously held roles at Microsoft and AOL.
