Freesat reaches 1.8m households
Freesat added 31,000 new homes during its fourth quarter bringing total installed base to over 1.8m households. Freesat, which offers subscription free satellite TV, is a joint venture between the BBC and ITV. “We’re pleased to say that our strong momentum has continued into the New Year with continued growth in household penetration and the successful launch of the Freesat mobile app,” said Freesat managing director Emma Scott.
