PZ Cussons hires top banker to help with hunt for acquisitions
PZ CUSSONS has hired one of the City’s top bankers Caroline Silver as a non-executive director as the Imperial Leather-maker sets out to make further acquisitions in its key markets.
Silver, who will join the board in April, is managing director at the investment bank Moelis & Co and has been involved in some of the biggest exchange deals of the last decade, recently helping to negotiate the $2.2bn sale of the London Metal Exchange in 2012.
Before joining Moelis in 2009 she was vice chairman of EMEA investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and also worked for Morgan Stanley.
PZ Cussons, which is on the hunt for further acquisitions, said Silver’s experience in Africa, one of its key markets, made her a “perfect fit”.
