KPMG helps fund big data school
KPMG is paying for 100 PhD students from around Europe to be schooled in data science in London this summer, as part of the professional service giant’s push into the big data business. “It is a win-win situation where companies have a chance to interact with the brightest minds in Europe, and PhDs get commercial experience,” said Kim Nilsson, the head of Pivigo, which is running the summer school at the University of Westminster.
