Fullerton Fund Management set to open London office
Fullerton Fund Management, the Singapore-based investment management firm, is working to establish an office in London, the Treasury has confirmed.
Fullerton, which specialises in Asian and emerging market investment solutions, will soon by applying for a licence from the Financial Conduct Authority.
Its move to London follows the launch of the government’s Investment Management Strategy – a plan to improve the UK’s competitive position as an asset management centre by bettering the tax and regulatory environment for businesses.
The office will be Fullerton’s first outside Asia. The hope is that it’ll help develop its client base and build new UK partnerships.
Manraj Sekhon, chief executive and investment officer at Fullerton, said Europe is a “key market” for the firm.
As a gateway to the continent and an important market in its own right, establishing a presence in the UK will further enhance our ability to service our clients and partners there, and allow us to better access business opportunities.
