To Fry. To Serve: British Airways adds fish and chips to menus
It’s about time. British Airways, the epitome of all things British, will finally start serving of one of our other stalwarts, fish and chips, on board.
Previously, it seems fish and chips were just too hard to replicate during a flight but thanks to some kind of gastronomical witchcraft from DHL Supply Chain, the airline will be able to serve up the favourite dish from now on – although, it will be limited to selected short-haul flights.
“Working with food innovation specialists Green Gourmet, DHL Supply Chain spent more than two years honing the dish to solve the challenge of how to serve chips that taste great while maintaining their crispiness at altitude,” says the release.
Two years well spent? We’re not sure yet…
