The professional services firm has hired Sheila Nicoll as a senior adviser in its asset management practice. She was most recently director of conduct policy at the Financial Services Authority. Prior to that, she was deputy chief executive of the Investment Management Association.
Coutts
The private bank has announced the appointment of Robert Hemphill as executive director for digital solutions. Hemphill has 20 years’ experience working in the financial sector. He has previously held senior positions at National Australia Bank.
Deloitte
Simon Cuerden has been appointed head of the forensic UK disputes practice at the professional services firm. Cuerden joined Deloitte in 2006 from PwC.
Lloyds
The bank has recruited Tim Hinton as managing director of mid-market and small and medium-sized businesses (SME) banking. Hinton previously spent 27 years at Standard Chartered, where he held senior roles in its wholesale and consumer banking business.
Colliers
The commercial real estate services firm has hired two project management specialists to its central London team. Neil Fisher and Graham Bennett both join from Jones Lang LaSalle.
AXA UK
Bertrand Poupart-Lafarge has joined the insurance and asset management company as group chief financial officer. He has previously worked for AXA in France, the US and Canada – where he was also chief financial officer.
Squire Sanders
The law firm has appointed Daniel Liptrott as a partner in its global corporate practice. He joins from Eversheds, where he was a partner in its mergers and acquisitions team.
Affiliated Managers Group
The asset management firm has hired Jenny Segal as head of European distribution. She is currently managing director and head of institutional for Europe at Neuberger Berman.
