The asset management firm has hired Chris Legge as head of intermediary services. He was most recently at Brewin Dolphin, where he was intermediary business development manager. Prior to that, Legge held roles at Gerrard Investment Management.
KPMG
The professional services firm has announced two appointments. Navdeep Arora will lead its insurance strategy practice. He joins from McKinsey, where he was a senior partner. Justin Balcombe joins as UK head of general insurance consulting. He has over 25 years’ experience in the global insurance market, and previously led EY’s Middle East and North Africa insurance group.
Payne Hicks Beach
Dominic Crossley has joined the law firm as a dispute resolution partner. He specialises in defamation and privacy issues. Crossley was formerly head of the defamation and reputation management team at Collyer Bristow.
WH Ireland
The wealth management company has hired Dan Cowland as a finance director and member of its board. He was most recently at Shore Capital Stockbrokers, and has also previously worked at Macquarie Bank and Lehman Brothers.
Cantor Fitzgerald Europe
The mid-market investment bank has appointed Tobias Woerner and Howard Prince-Wright as senior advisers. Woerner was formerly a senior adviser for the building and mining sectors at Gleacher Shacklock. Prince-Wright has previously held roles at Antenna Group and Saxobank.
SimCorp
The investment management solutions provider has announced the appointment of Peter Hill as managing director. He was most recently managing director at SimCorp Asia Pacific. Prior to that, Hill was a managing director at Fiserv Asia Pacific, and held management roles at IBM Australia.
CDC
David Osborne has joined the UK’s development finance institution as an investment director. He has over 25 years’ private equity investing experience. He joins from CapAsia, where he was managing director and head of its Islamic infrastructure fund.
