Chelverton Asset Management
The asset management firm has appointed Richard Bucknell as an investment director in its unquoted equities team. Prior to joining, Bucknell held senior investment management positions at Barclays Ventures.
Insparo Asset Management
The Africa and Middle East specialist investment firm has hired Peter Lindqvist as head of sales and marketing. Lindqvist was most recently head of EMEA sales at Pramerica Fixed Income, and has also worked in senior distribution roles for Threadneedle, Citigroup, Barings and Skandia.
TLT
The law firm has made two senior appointments to its City office. Financial regulatory partner Emily Benson joins from Kinetic Partners, where she led its retail conduct and financial crime divisions. Benson previously worked in-house for Santander. Employment partner Mark McQuillan joins from Michael Simkins.
Axa Investment Managers
Tim Gardener has been appointed global head of the institutional client group at Axa Investment Managers. He joined in 2010 as global head of consultant relations from Mercer Investment Consulting, where he was global chief investment officer.
Grant Thornton
The advisory firm has announced the appointments of Mark Byers as UK head of advisory, and Sacha Romanovitch as head of London advisory. Byers joined as an audit trainee in 1978 and became a recovery and reorganisation partner in 1993. Romanovitch joined in 1994 and was made partner in 2001.
Lockton
The insurance brokerage has hired Eve Tyrrell-Price as a claims consultant in its real estate and construction team. She has over 18 years’ industry experience, and joins from Aon, where she was a claims director. Prior to that, Tyrrell-Price held roles at Jones Lang LaSalle and RSA.
Babel Systems
Amanda Fisher has joined the technology company’s management team. She has 30 years’ experience in accounting, audit and software development, and was formerly at Broadridge, where she was head of business development.
