The property company has hired George Edwards as an associate in its London development team. Edwards was most recently at Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was an associate director and member of its investment advisory services team.
Mayer Brown
The law firm has appointed two partners to its banking and finance group in London. Richard Todd was previously a partner in the banking and capital markets group at Berwin Leighton Paisner. David O’Connor joins from Allen & Overy.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers
Ruud Hendriks has joined the investment management business as a senior adviser. He has over 30 years’ asset management experience, and was previously at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Renaissance Capital
The emerging markets investment bank has hired Alexander Merzlenko and Ron Golan as global co-heads of investment banking. Merzlenko joined Renaissance Capital in 2000. Golan joined the firm in 2012 as a head of investment banking. Prior to that, he was head of investment banking coverage for Israel, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa at Morgan Stanley.
RPC
Iain Anderson has been appointed partner in the law firm’s Singapore office. Anderson has 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry, and was most recently at Ince, where he was head of its Asia insurance and reinsurance group.
Misys
The software company has announced the appointment of Chris Curtis as regional sales director for Asia Pacific. Curtis was most recently at Oracle, where he was vice president of its banking global business team.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
The law firm has recruited Luke Whitmore as a partner in its derivatives and structured finance division. Whitmore was formerly at Baker & McKenzie, where he was of counsel. Prior to that, he qualified and practised at Clifford Chance.
