Carillion lands hospital deal
Support services firm Carillion has been chosen as the preferred bidder for a £200m support services contract by Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. The trust is one of the largest in the country and includes Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital. The initial contract is for a five-year period, with an option for an extension by a further three years. The decision was taken by the NUH Trust board on 27 March.
