The investment management firm has appointed Ian Enslin to its charities team. He joins from Newton Asset Management, and has previously worked at Barings, Invesco and Norwich Union.
City Financial
The asset management business has hired Mark Pearson as marketing director. He was formerly head of investment strategy and communications at Aegon UK.
Lloyds Bank
Rob Carruthers has joined Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking as business development director for financial institutions in the UK regions. He previously held relationship management and business development positions at CIBC World Markets and Scotiabank.
Nutmeg
The investment management service has announced the appointment of Phillip Bungey as chief operations officer. He has over 25 years’ financial services experience, and previously held senior management and director roles at Barclays and UBS.
Duff & Phelps
The valuation advisory firm has appointed James Palmer as managing director. He has over 13 years’ industry experience. Palmer formerly qualified as a chartered accountant in the consumer products practice at PwC.
Oanda Corporation
The foreign exchange trading services company has made two appointments. Gavin Ward and Louis Cooper both join from CMC Markets. Ward has been appointed head of greater China. Cooper joins as managing director for Australia.
Jersey Finance
Richard Corrigan has joined Jersey Finance as deputy chief executive. Prior to joining, he held senior roles at RBS and Barclays Wealth.
Michelmores
The law firm has hired commercial litigator Garbhan Shanks as a partner in its London office. Shanks joins from Addleshaw Goddard.
