The investment intelligence firm has announced the hire of Angus McPhail as an equities analyst in its oil and gas team. He specialises in mid-cap exploration companies. McPhail has previously worked as an analyst at Investec, Alliance Trust, ING, and WH Ireland.
BNY Mellon Asset Management
The investment management company has appointed Heneg Parthenay as chief operating officer of its asset management division. Parthenay has over 13 years’ experience in insurance and asset management. He has previously held various roles at Aviva Investors, Renault, and Axa corporate solutions.
Jones Lang LaSalle
Paul Welterveden has joined the property services firm as head of development management. He was most recently at Land Securities, where he was development project director.
White & Case
The law firm has hired two partners to its private equity practice for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Ian Bagshaw and Richard Youle both join from Linklaters, where they co-headed its private equity group.
Duff & Phelps
David Lu has joined the financial advisory firm as head of its investment banking practice in China. He was most recently at Cowen Group, where he was head of Asia investment banking. Before that, he held senior roles at Piper Jaffray and Rodman & Renshaw.
VTB Capital
Dimitrios Kavvathas has been appointed head of global markets for Asia Pacific at the investment management firm. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs, where he was a partner.
London & Capital
The wealth management firm has recruited Cindy Lim as a client relationship manager. Lim joins from HSBC, where she worked in its investor visa division for seven years.
EDM Group
Craig Campbell has joined the business services firm as senior sales consultant. He has previously held senior sales roles at Iron Mountain and CDS Global.
