Metro Bank chief joins the City abseil bonanza
NOT ONLY have people been gaining access to some fantastic buildings this weekend, a lot of people have also been zooming down the outside of them, too.
Friday saw the Lord Mayor Fiona Woolf and Lloyd’s chief exec Inga Beale abseil down the side of the Lloyd’s building. Yesterday Metro Bank employees, chief exec Craig Donaldson included, went over the edge of Broadgate Tower.
“We’re really proud to be supporting our charity partner Place2Be through the abseil down Broadgate Tower – a memorable experience for us all!” Donaldson told The Capitalist, feet firmly back on the ground.
It’s been an adrenaline packed weekend.
