Adams asked to aid Sri Lanka
FORMER Surrey coach Chris Adams is to join Sri Lanka as a consultant during their forthcoming tour of England.
A packed month begins with a Twenty20 international at the Oval on 20 May and includes five one-day internationals plus two Tests.
A Sri Lanka Cricket statement confirmed: “The executive committee approved the recommendation to appoint former Sussex captain and Surrey coach Chris Adams as a consultant for the upcoming tour of England.”
Head coach Peter Moores is set to lead England for the first time in a Test series and will be assisted by Paul Farbrace, who quit as Sri Lanka coach earlier this month.
