The execution-only stockbroker has announced the appointment of Linda Summers as chief marketing officer. She was most recently at Skype, where she was director of product and partner marketing. Prior to that, Summers held roles at O2/Telefonica and BT.
GLG Partners
The investment management firm has appointed Andy Li as co-manager of its Strategic Bond and Global Corporate Bond funds. He joins from ECM, where he was lead portfolio manager of the ECM Diversified Financials Europe fund, and co-manager of the ECM Absolute Return Credit fund. Before that, Li was a management consultant at Accenture.
Salamanca Group
Rory Innes has joined the merchant banking and operational risk management business as head of cyber security. He was previously at Dell SecureWorks, where he was responsible for sales and marketing for information security services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Gibson Dunn
The law firm has announced the appointment of Jonathan Earle as a partner in its London office. He specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and was most recently at Ashurst, where he was a partner.
Novae Group
The specialist-listed Lloyd’s insurer has hired Reeken Patel as chief risk officer, with responsibility for its actuarial and aggregate management functions. Patel was formerly a partner in the general insurance division at PwC. He is currently chairman of the London Market Actuaries Group.
Multrees Investor Services
Jaco Cebula has joined Multrees Investor Services as chief technology officer. He has over 18 years’ specialised technology experience. Cebula was previously IT development manager at Kames Capital and head of the application support IT team at F&C Asset Management.
River and Mercantile
The asset management company has appointed Kevin Hayes as chief financial officer. He has over 20 years’ industry experience, and joins from Man Group, where he was a finance director. Hayes has also previously held senior roles at Lehman Brothers and EY.
