Online mogul’s social net worth
MARK Zuckerberg, founder of internet giant Facebook, managed to both be the youngest billionaire, and the one that added the most to their fortune this year, according to Bloomberg Markets.
Zuckerberg, who is still not quite 30 years old, doubled his fortune this year, up to $23.6bn (£14.71bn) from the beginning of January to the end of September.
However, Zuckerberg still has some time to catch up the oldest billionaire to make Bloomberg’s list. Karl Albrecht, one of the founders of Aldi, is more than three times Zuckerberg’s age, at 93.
Only two on the list, Zuckerberg and manufacturing magnate Alejandro Santo Domingo.
Albrecht also sits slightly higher in the list, at 22nd wealthiest to the Facebook founder’s 26th. Still, both are giving entrepreneurs of all ages something to aim for. However, only 20 on the 200-strong list are women.
