From Building Public Trust to European Diversity, the award for night with most awards held goes to…
There’ll be some sore heads and award-laden pockets around the City this morning as its firms were treated to a variety of award ceremonies last night. PwC’s Building Public Trust awards took place on Park Lane, where four gongs were handed out recognising excellence in corporate reporting (no more pertinent an award in light of Tesco, surely).
Vodafone walked away with the trophy for the FTSE 100 category, Provident Financial, HM Revenue & Customs and Aegon also triumphed.
Meanwhile, Grange City Hotel played host to the EY-sponsored Black Business Awards, which saw Dragon Piers Linney and Lloyds chief economist Trevor Williams both go home with something for the mantelpiece.
The European Diversity Awards (Barclays walked away with best marketing campaign) was also held, as was the Unquote Private Equity award ceremony. Phew, we wonder if anyone made it to them all?
