The law firm has announced the hire of Mark Norris as a finance partner in its London office. He was most recently at Squire Sanders, where he was a banking and finance partner. Norris has previously held various roles at Simmons & Simmons and Clifford Chance.
PwC
Michael Spiteri has joined the professional services firm’s insurance consulting team as a partner. He was formerly a technology and operations partner at Accenture.
Kleinwort Benson
The private bank and wealth manager has recruited Arun Lad as head of London compliance. He joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he was director of policy and advisory. Prior to that, he was head of operations and reporting at Lloyds TSB.
Russell Investments
David Vickers has been appointed senior portfolio manager at the asset management firm. He was formerly at Sarasin, where he was a partner and lead fund manager within its multi-asset team, and a member of its investment policy committee.
Pimco
The investment management company has announced the appointment of Eugene Dimitriou as senior vice president and account manager in its European financial institutions group. He has previously held senior roles at Morgan Stanley, RBS and RBC.

The law firm has recruited Karen Friebe as a partner in its global real estate practice. Friebe specialises in the acquisition, development and disposal of property in the hotel and leisure sectors. She was most recently at DLA Piper, where she was a real estate partner.

Stefan Martin has joined the law firm’s London office as a partner in its employment and benefits group. He was most recently at Allen & Overy, where he was an employment partner.
FRC
The Financial Reporting Council has hired Chris Hodge as executive director of strategy. He previously worked at the Department of Trade and Industry.
