Award winners open the LSE
THE WINNERS of City A.M.’s fourth annual awards continued their celebrations yesterday at the London Stock Exchange, where they were invited to open the markets.
Editor Allister Heath led the way on a morning which saw shares generally rising after positive diplomatic news from Iran led to hopes of lower oil prices and less geopolitical tension.
After the ceremony, London Stock Exchange chief executive Alexander Justham congratulated all of the winners on their success, and saved a few kind words for City A.M. – which he said was now “at the heart of the London financial community” after just eight years.
