The health and beauty products maker has appointed Yana Ignatova as head of marketing for northern Europe. Prior to joining the firm, Ignatova spent 17 years at Proctor & Gamble, where she held a senior marketing position.
Aviva Investors
Charlie Diebel has been appointed head of rates strategy by the asset management business of Aviva. Diebel joins from Lloyds Bank, where he was head of market strategy. Prior to that, he was head of rates at Nomura International.
Provenir
Paul Thomas has been appointed managing director of Provenir International – the credit and loan origination firm’s operation outside North America. Thomas previously held leadership roles at Earthport and Fiserv. He has also worked for Bloomberg and SunGard.
Seddons
The law practice has made four new hires. Sangeeta Somchand joins as a partner in the commercial property department. She joins from Statham Gill Davies. Victoria Sterritt joins the family team from Tees Solicitors, and Meera Doshi the litigation department, following training at Faegre Baker Daniels. Sanam Hussain joins from Fraser Brown Solicitors, and will work in the secured lending team.

Jenefer Greenwood OBE has joined the board of the owner-managed real estate fund management firm as non-executive director. Greenwood has previously held a non-executive directorship at Assura Group and was chair of the National Skills Academy for Retail. She has been president of the British Council of Shopping Centres, and is currently on the board of DCH Group.

Marc Tendler and Bas Hoekstra join the business adviser’s specialist leasing, asset and consumer financing division. Tendler, an accountant, has worked in senior roles at Invigors, UK Vendor and Captive Asset Finance, and ING Lease UK. Hoekstra was also previously at ING Lease Holding, where he held a leadership role.
Avalara
Richard Asquith has joined the cloud-based software provider as vice-president of global tax compliance. Previously, Asquith was with TMF Group, having begun his career at KPMG, going on to join EY. He also serves on OECD tax committees.
