The private equity firm has announced the appointment of Richard Moore as investment manager. He joins from Magenta Partners. Moore is a chartered accountant, and spent four years working in financial due diligence, M&A, valuations, business modelling and distressed situations at EY.
RBS
Martin Knott has been appointed head of trade, global transaction services in the bank’s trade finance business. He joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was head of trade for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Knott has previously held positions at ABN AMRO and Barclays.
Skrill
The online payment technology firm has appointed David Sear as group chief executive, effective 1 January 2015. He joined Skrill in August 2014 as chief commercial officer, and has also held positions at Travelex.
BTIG
The financial services firm has hired three sales traders to its London office. Stephen Downer joins from Mirabaud Securities, where he was associate director for emerging markets. Andrew Andreou joins from Macquarie Bank, where he was managing director and head of facilitation trading. Chris Haase joins from Espirito Santo, where he was head of sales trading.
Broadgate Estates
Katie Mansfield has been appointed marketing and commercial director at the property management company. She joins from Hertz, where she was director of brand, product and innovation. Mansfield has also held senior marketing and commercial development positions at Eurostar.
UBP
The private bank has appointed Karine Jesiolowski as senior investment specialist in its emerging markets bond team. She joins from BNP Paribas Fortis, where she was an analyst. Jesiolowski has also held positions at CPR Asset Management and Rothschild Asset Management.
Somerset Capital
The fund manager has announced two appointments. Dhawal Mehta joins as senior analyst in Singapore from Reliance Asset Management. Fergus Argyle joins as a senior analyst in London from Herald Investment Management.
