Oaktree capital at six-year high
CAPITAL raised at Oaktree in the third quarter of 2014 was $4.1bn (£2.6bn), bringing the trailing 12-month total to $16.6bn, the highest in six years.
The company attributed this growth largely to “newer investment strategies”, and also reported that assets had climbed to $93.2bn in the quarter, up from $79.8bn last year. Howard Marks, Oaktree chairman, said the firm had progressed on many fronts.
