In pictures: M&S hopes for summer of love with 2015 spring clothing line
Winter has arrived and the temperature has finally dropped but the weather felt distinctly summery last night in Marylebone, west London, where Marks & Spencer was showcasing next season’s collection.
Speaking at the event, style director Belinda Earl said the 2015 spring/summer ranges, which will start hitting the stores as soon as February, were “much more considered and confident”.
Featuring among next season's collections is an Oriental-inspired range with kimono-style tops as well as a seventies-feel “summer of love” collection that includes suede skirts and bright coloured tops.
“We have done a lot of work editing the collection to ensure we have outfits that are wearable and very much on trend,” the former Jaeger boss said.
