Euan Campbell has been appointed to the newly-created role of global head of retail segments for retail clients at the bank. He joins from Santander Group, where he was executive vice president responsible for the strategic direction of its US cards business. Campbell has also held senior roles at HSBC.
Cordea Savills
The property investment manager has appointed Malcolm Naish as chairman of the advisory committee for its Charities Property Fund. He is a former director of real estate at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and director/chief executive of DTZ Investment Management.
Convex Capital
The corporate finance boutique has announced the promotion of Tim Marlow to partner. He joined the firm in 2006, and will continue to advise entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses on the sale of their equity.
Ogier VI
The law firm has appointed Andrew Wanambwa as a partner in its dispute resolution team. He joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, and has particular experience advising corporates, financial institutions, and insolvency practitioners on large commercial disputes. Wanambwa trained with Clifford Chance in London.
ACE Group
The insurance group has announced two appointments to its Europe, Middle East and Africa accident and health (A&H) management team. Joel Laventure joins as commercial director, A&H Classic. He was previously head of SME and residential insurance for ACE in the Asia Pacific region. Matt Foster joins as head of product marketing for A&H. He was most recently senior manager for products at Ageas.
Just Costs Solicitors
Costs lawyer Glenn Newberry has been appointed director and head of the London office at the law firm. He joins from Eversheds, where he was head of the firm’s costs team. Newberry was also previously head of costs at Clifford Chance.
Skarbek Associates
The strategy implementation firm has appointed Simon Pulsford as chairman. He was most recently chief strategy officer of GlaxoSmithKline’s consumer healthcare business.
