Landlords lay out manifesto
LANDLORDS have today outlined their manifesto for this year’s general election.
The Residential Landlords’ Association (RLA) wants a change to the UK’s strict planning laws to promote housing investment. The RLA also want tenants be able to renew their tenancies for up to five years to provide more stability. “Landlords have already responded to the growing demand for homes to rent but, with the right support, there is much more we could do,” said RLA chairman Alan Ward.
