Osborne Clarke unveils private wealth practice
INTERNATIONAL legal practice Osborne Clarke yesterday launched its new private wealth practice for high net wealth individuals and families.
The London-based firm has recruited Stuart Janaway and Andrew Goodman to head up the new practice, with further appointments expected this year.
Goodman joins from rival Taylor Wessing, where he was a partner in its private client group. Janaway comes from being partner at boutique private client firm New Quadrant Partners.
The firm’s new offering will provide a range of private client advice, including international tax and estate planning, immigration, property advice, and litigation support.
Commenting on the appointments, Osborne Clarke’s UK managing partner, Ray Berg, said: “Stuart and Andrew’s arrival at Osborne Clarke is the first step in creating a new, innovative private client offering that reflects the culture and approach of our firm.”
“Andrew and Stuart both have first class reputations and are well-known and respected in the industry. We look forward to the contributions they will bring.”
