The investment firm has appointed Andrew Booker as head of sales within its private banking business. He joins from Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, where he held roles in sales, relationship management and strategic planning. Booker has also held senior roles at JP Morgan Private Bank.
Countrywide
Samantha Tyrer has been appointed managing director for retail at the property services firm. She joins from Dixons Carphone, where she was most recently responsible for 8,500 people across 1,100 branches as retail and services director. Tyrer has also held positions at HMV.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management
The investment management firm has appointed Daniel Hawkes as head of London discretionary and Channel Islands distribution. He joins from Columbia Threadneedle.
Norman Broadbent
Scanes Bentley has been appointed executive chairman of the executive search firm. He was previously non-executive chairman of Norman Broadbent. Bentley also held several senior positions as a partner at Accenture for 12 years.
Goodwin Procter
The law firm has appointed Simon Fulbrook as a partner in its private equity group in its London office. He joins from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a debt finance partner with a principal focus on sponsor-side leveraged finance.
Brecher
Wesley Fongenie has been appointed head of planning at the real estate law firm. He was previously joint head of planning at Mishcon De Reya. He advises on all aspects of planning law.
MJ Mapp
The property management firm has appointed Dave Curran to its building consultancy team. He previously worked at Malcolm Hollis.
ICAEW
The professional body for accountants has appointed Ross Campbell as director, public sector. He joins from HM Treasury, where he was deputy director for government financial reporting.
