The professional services firm has appointed Maggie Stilwell as managing partner for talent. She has been a partner in its fraud and dispute services practice since 1996, and has over 19 years’ experience, particularly focusing on contract disputes.
BlueBay Asset Management
Soumyanshu Bhattacharya has been appointed institutional portfolio manager in the fixed income manager’s emerging markets sovereign team. Bhattacharya has 10 years’ experience in fixed income, and was most recently a client portfolio manager in the emerging market debt team at JP Morgan Asset Management. Bhattacharya has also held positions at Deutsche Bank.
BDO
The accountancy and business advisory firm has appointed Stephen Peters as partner in its London-based forensic services team. He joins from AlixPartners, where he was a director in its forensic accounting group. Peters has also held roles at PwC.
KKR
The investment firm has appointed Dominique Lafont as senior adviser to the firm. He was formerly president and chief executive of Bolloré Africa Logistics. In his new role, Lafont will support KKR’s growth and business development in Africa.
Proskauer
Bruno Bertrand-Delfau has been appointed partner in the law firm’s private investment funds practice in London. He advises institutional investors on their primary investments in private equity funds and related transactions.
Tullett Prebon Alternative Investments
The interdealer broker’s alternative investments arm has appointed Michael McKell as head of real estate secondaries to trade open-ended and specialist real estate funds.
Clyde & Co
The law firm has announced the appointment of David Wilkinson as head of its intellectual property practice in the UK. He was previously an intellectual property partner at Bristows and, more recently, head of intellectual property at Stevens & Bolton. Wilkinson has over 20 years’ experience handling intellectual property disputes and transactions.
