July Budget 2015: George Osborne biggest Budget winner as chancellor becomes favourite for next Tory leader
George Osborne was the biggest winner of today's Budget, becoming the favourite to replace David Cameron as the next Tory leader.
Odds on the chancellor becoming the next party leader fell to 5/2, overtaking London mayor Boris Johnson on the list of potential contenders, according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies paid out at 10/1 on Osborne's mention of Ed Balls during today's Budget speech, one of a selection of buzzwords he was predicted to say.
"Osborne might be the darling of Conservative MPs right now, but Ladbrokes' political desk might be appealing for an emergency IMF loan to fill the black hole created by the chancellor's budget," said Ladbrokes' Matthew Shaddick.
Osborne's odds on becoming the next leader stood at 16/1 two years ago. Looks like the makeover's paying off.
