Towers Watson
The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Kate Hollis to its credit research team. She joins from S&P Capital IQ, where she was most recently global head of fixed income/alternatives fund research. Hollis has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, and has also held fixed income sales and trading positions at Deutsche Bank, Daiwa Securities, Scotia McLeod and Schroders.
KPMG
Amy Marshall has been appointed director in the professional services firm’s power and utilities practice, specialising in smart meters, smart grid and technology enabled transformation. She joins from Engage Consulting, and has also held senior positions at Cable and Wireless. In addition, KPMG has appointed Dimitrios Petropoulos as principal adviser to its cyber security team. He has over 20 years’ experience in the area.
Insight Investment
The investment manager has appointed Heneg Parthenay as head of insurance. He joins from BNY Mellon Investment Management Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he was chief operating officer and head of insurance. Parthenay was also previously strategy and M&A director at Aviva Investors.
Kingsley Napley
Adam Lambert has been appointed partner in the law firm’s employment law team. He joins from Clyde & Co, and has particular experience in boardroom disputes, large scale redundancies, staff transfers, discrimination claims and disputes concerning working time and holidays.
Anthemis Group
The investment and advisory firm has appointed Brett King as venture partner. He is the chief executive of Moven, the downloadable bank account, which he founded in 2012.
Fidessa
The financial services technology provider has appointed Peter Holmgren to head up new business sales for its sell-side trading systems in Europe. He was previously head of sell-side OMS sales at TradingScreen.
Addleshaw Goddard
The law firm has announced that partner Amanda Hulme has been appointed head of its financial regulation practice.
