Bangkok blast Second explosion goes off as Thai government releases images of suspect in Ratchaprasong attack, which killed 20 and wounded 120
Update: A second explosion has been reported in Bangkok, less than a day after the first blast went off.
A bomb is reported to have been thrown off Sathorn pier in Bangkok at around 1:20pm local time. It bounced on the water and exploded there, local media is reporting. Police have confirmed there are no injuries from this second blast.
It comes as Thai officials release images of the suspect behind yesterday's bomb, which is thought to have killed at least 20, although some reports have put the death toll as high as 27. Around 120 people are thought to have been injured.
The attack was condemned by Thailand's junta chief Prayut Chan-O-Cha as the “worst ever attack” on the country. "Today there is a suspect… we are looking for this guy," Prayut said in a press conference.

The anti-government group is thought to be based in the northeast of the country, where the grassroots “Red Shirt” movement – which opposes the military junta – is based.
The Thai government yesterday set up a “war room” to deal with the incident.
Those responsible "intended to destroy the economy and tourism, because the incident occurred in the heart of the tourism district", defence minister Prawit Wongsuwan told Reuters. "It was a TNT bomb… the people who did it targeted foreigners and to damage tourism and the economy," he said.
The "huge" blast occurred at 7pm local time yesterday, near the Erawan Shrine, Bangkok, by the busy Ratchaprasong intersection in the centre of the city. The shrine is popular with tourists as well as locals and located near a five-star hotel.
