PwC
The professional services firm has announced several appointments to its corporate finance deals team. Jon Shelley (pictured) becomes an equity partner. He joined as a graduate in 2002 and works out of its Aberdeen Centre of Excellence for Oil and Gas. Gareth Marshall and Charlotte Tracy, both from PwC’s Northern practice, become directors. Finally, Charles Johnson-Ferguson becomes an equity partner, and Michael Meredith and Andrew Osborn become directors, in its corporate finance infrastructure and government team.
Hermes Investment Management
Emma Hunt has been appointed director, strategic client management and business development for Hermes EOS, the investment management firm’s engagement service. She joins from Towers Watson, where she was global co-head of sustainable and responsible investment. Hunt has also held roles at Mercer.
New Capital
The subsidiary of EFG Asset Management has appointed John Leahy as UK equity fund manager. He joins from Hermes Investment Management, where he ran UK smaller company strategies for 14 years, including the Hermes UK Small and Mid Cap UCITS fund. Leahy has also held roles at G Ullman Fund Management.
TA Associates
The private equity firm has announced the appointment of Max Cancre as vice president in London. He focuses on investments in technology and financial services companies across Europe, and joins from Barclays Capital, where he was an analyst in its investment banking division, structured finance group. Cancre previously served as an associate in TA Associates’ London office.
EDM Group
Louise Rawlinson has been appointed UK head of project delivery at the information management firm. She has most recently completed projects with Deutsche Bank and Tata Technology, where she acted as consultant to Jaguar Cars.
Delta Capita
The financial services business and technology solutions consultancy has appointed Kevin Covington to its board as a non-executive director. He has nearly 30 years’ industry experience, including four years at the helm of ITRS.
