Sand landmarks at St Paul’s Cathedral
ENOUGH with the sand. Despite the sub-par summer, London has an obsession with beaches this year – now sand sculptures are being built at St Paul’s. A different world landmark is being chiselled each day, marking the launch of travel company Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Travellist guide. ■ Don’t pretend you don’t watch BBC’s Dragon’s Den. Admit it – you love critiquing the pitches and admiring Peter Jones’ smile. Diehard fans of the show will remember musical entrepreneur Levi Roots. Eight years since he rose to fame, the Reggae Reggae Sauce creator revealed plans last month to open his first restaurant in Westfield Stratford. To celebrate, Mr Roots is setting up shop at an all-day food “carnival” on Shoreditch High Street on Saturday. Roots has even promised to get his guitar out for the punters. You won’t want to miss that.
