Business information specialist Graydon has announced the appointment of Rob Veneboer as its new group chief operating officer. Rob is an experienced business leader in the online information industry. In his previous role, Rob was managing director business information solutions for LexisNexis International. For 10 years, he worked for LexisNexis as managing director in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels. He has also been managing director for Sdu Publishers and De Persgroep in Amsterdam.
Securitas Direct Verisure Group
Vincent Litrico has been appointed chief financial officer of fire and intrusion alarm provider Securitas Direct Verisure, effective 1 June 2016. Vincent joins Securitas Direct Verisure from Estee Lauder Companies, where he was vice president finance, strategy & business operations for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Prior to joining Estee Lauder, Vincent held various positions in finance with Procter & Gamble across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, most recently as CFO of the global brand and appliances business unit.
Olswang
International technology, media and telecoms law firm Olswang has announced that Andrew Stott is Olswang Asia’s new managing partner with effect from 1 May 2016. He takes over from Rob Bratby, who will return to the firm’s London office to take up a global telecoms and emerging markets role for the firm. Andrew is a corporate partner who advises companies, financial institutions and individuals on international M&A, investment deals and strategic joint ventures. He has particular experience in working on multi-jurisdiction transactions and has advised on more than 100 corporate mandates since relocating to Singapore in January 2012 to establish Olswang’s corporate team in Asia.
Mercer
Mercer, a global consultancy in advancing health, wealth and careers, has announced the appointment of Ashlin Noonan as a senior investment consultant. Based in the Woking consulting team, Ashlin will be responsible for providing advice to clients on the full range of investment consulting services, including investment strategy, manager structure, manager selection and performance monitoring. Ashlin is a qualified actuary with over 12 years’ investment consulting and pensions experience with multi-national and boutique professional services firms, including roles at KPMG, Towers Watson and Novare Actuaries & Consultants. She joins Mercer from Cartwrights.
Macquarie Capital
Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory, capital markets and principal investment arm of Macquarie Group, has announced that Jacques Callaghan has been named senior managing director and head of UK financial sponsors. Jacques joins from Canaccord Genuity where he was co-head of European investment banking and head of financial sponsors coverage.
