These three charts will show you exactly when you are at your most productive
Everyone's a morning person these days.
That's according to figures from breakfast brand Moma, anyway, which suggest more than 40 per cent of Britons see themselves as being at their most productive between 9am and 12pm.
The figures, seen exclusively by City A.M., show people tend to become more productive as they head towards middle age – so while 56 per cent of people between 45 and 54 reckon they're at their best in the morning, just 31.4 per cent of 18 to 24 year-olds think those are their peak hours.
For those in their late teens and early 20s, 3pm to 6pm is their next-most productive time, while for 23-34 year-olds, it's 12pm to 3pm – the time we once traditionally called "lunch"…
Meanwhile, women are overwhelmingly more likely to say they are more productive in the morning, with 46.5 per cent of women saying 9am to 12pm is their best time of the day, compared with 36 per cent of men.
Chaps, meanwhile, cite late afternoon as their top time over women – with 19.5 per cent saying 3pm to 6pm is their peak time, compared with just 13.8 per cent of women.
And it turns out those living in the capital are even more morning people than those outside the capital, with 44.3 per cent saying they're at their most productive between 9am and 12pm – that's more than four percentage points higher than the rest of the country.
Perhaps London isn't as swinging as we thought it was…
