British land
Alice Keown has been appointed asset manager for food and beverage at the real estate company. She joins from Davis Coffer Lyons’s London estate and development team. Keown has also held roles at World Duty Free and BAA, and she was senior food and beverage account manager at the latter.
Deutsche Bank
Evans Haji-Touma has been appointed global head of coverage for alternative capital providers within corporate finance at the bank. He joins from HSBC, where he was most recently global head of sovereign wealth and public fund coverage.
Close brothers asset management
Alan Knox has been appointed business development director at the asset management firm. He has over 14 years’ experience in the industry, and previously spent eight years with Old Mutual Wealth as a business development manager.
Woodford Investment Management
The asset manager has announced six appointments to its investment and operations teams. Lucinda Crabtree, Richard Lockington and Harry Raikes join as investment analysts. Crabtree has previously held roles at Panmure Gordon, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, Lockington joins from Duff & Phelps, and Raikes joins from Envestors. In the operations team, Mohammad Sohail joins from Ruffer, James Coats joins from MSK Capital Partners, and Dominic Eccles joins from BP’s asset management arm.
Novae
James Green has been appointed class underwriter for renewable energy at the property and casualty (re)insurance business. He joins from JLT, where he was practice leader for renewable energy. Green also previously spent seven years at XL Insurance.
Henley Investments
The private equity real estate investor has appointed Stuart Savidge as chief financial officer. He was previously chief financial officer and chief operating officer at CBRE. Savidge has also held positions at Prestbury, JP Morgan, Apollo and Morgan Stanley.
UBS Wealth Management
The wealth management firm has appointed Sofia Sool as head of wealth management for central and eastern Europe, London and Abdallah Najia as head of Middle East and North Africa, London in its global emerging markets team. Sool transfers from Moscow and Najia transfers from UBS Wealth Management Dubai.
